Tiffany has built her career around bringing awareness & balance to the body, and healing through movement. Her impressively long list of certifications and extensive training in a variety of disciplines gives her a unique perspective to share with her students
Tiffany has an extensive background in movement, with years of knowledge and experience in dance and movement studies. Tiffany received her BA in Dance from Columbia College Chicago, focusing on teaching and choreography. During her time in Chicago she was an active member of the dance community and had the privilege of dancing with many local and internationally renowned choreographers, including performing with Mikhail Baryshnikov and The White Oak Dance Project. She began her path as a movement educator teaching ballet at the age of 17 and later moved on to modern dance and creative movement.
Tiffany is a fully certified STOTT PILATES instructor, a certified Yoga instructor (E-RYT 200 & YACEP), aerial yoga instructor, a certified Yamuna® Body Rolling practitioner and YBR® Certification Instructor. She received her Pilates training at Bodycenter Studios and her 200 hour Yoga teacher training at 8 Limbs Yoga Center Seattle. She studied Yamuna® Body Rolling in NYC with founder Yamuna Zake. She returns to NYC and the Flagship Studio yearly to study the newest YBR® techniques. She is also a member of the Pilates Method Alliance, IDEA, and The International Association for Dance Medicine & Science.
Tiffany is currently enrolled in the 500 hr yoga teacher training program at 8 Limbs Yoga Center Seattle & Parayoga Instructor Training with Yogarupa Rod Stryker.
Tiffany brings with her a strong background in anatomy & kinesiology and is also trained in other modalities such as Fascial Movement, Yamuna® Hands-On therapeutics, Yamuna® Foot Fitness, Yamuna® Facial, Franklin Method, Aston Patterning, Bartenieff and more. As a self-professed education addict she is always working to gain more tools to benefit her students. She strives to share her knowledge and experience to help clients achieve their goals in a fun and supportive environment.
Tiffany composes a well rounded class aimed at addressing students goals and needs, bringing awareness & balance to the body. She feels it is important to educate students about their bodies and empower them to take an active role in developing a strong, supple, balanced, injury-free body. Tiffany has taught throughout the Seattle area, across the US, and abroad. She offers group classes, private instruction, workshops, teacher trainings, continuing ed, and retreats.
In her free time Tiffany loves to snowboard, dance, dive, surf, or do pretty much anything in the water. She hangs out with her amazing Jack Russell Terrier pup Logan and she likes cheese!
